Yes, free patterns are helpful… at first. But if you only follow what’s out there, you’ll never develop your unique style or create a personal brand. You need to learn how to build your own signature designs.

3. Ignoring the Technical Details

Things like thread type, tension, stabilizers, fabric, and machine settings make a huge difference! Your machine won’t do magic on its own—you have to understand how to control it.

4. Working Without a Plan

Experimenting is good, but random work without a strategy will leave you frustrated. You need a clear learning path and a plan to grow and succeed.

5. Learning From Random YouTube Videos
